Sv. Ivan Rilski Church is the home of Bulgarian Orthodox faith in Chicago – a place for prayer, community, and preservation of our sacred traditions.
Service Schedule
Everyone is welcome! Come as you are – with faith or doubts, with joy or heavy thoughts. The doors of our church are open to all who seek God and spiritual community.
Every Wednesday evening we gather for communal prayer before the Most Holy Theotokos – our intercessor and comforter.
Father Kiril or his assistants share spiritual stories for children and adults. A wonderful opportunity for families to gather together in faith.
Sunday Divine Liturgy is the heart of our spiritual life. We invite you to partake in the Holy Mysteries and begin the week with God’s grace.
There is also a planned talk for grown-ups after the liturgy (optional).

When to Find Father Kiril
Father Kiril is available and always happy to meet with parishioners for spiritual conversation, confession, or simply for a cup of coffee:

Visit by request:
If you need to meet at another time, please call Father Kiril and he will gladly arrange a time to meet with you. He is is always available when parishioners need him.
