The Church of St. Ivan Rilski has been restored, is open, and is fully functioning. Once again, it fulfills its most important mission—to serve as a spiritual home, a place of prayer, and a center of unity for the Bulgarian community in Chicago and the surrounding region.
The church is the heart of our community. Here, we gather for events that connect us to the Orthodox faith, Bulgarian traditions, and to one another. The church is a place of spiritual support, a space where children are raised with strong values, and a home for preserving our identity far from our homeland.
